World Mahjong Championship 2007. Arriving in Emeishan, 29 October 2007

Emeishan Tourist Square. Well, you gotta give them, that's a very honest name for the place.

Still on Tourist Square, just down the road from Hong Zhu Shan Hotel. This is apparently a recreation of a famous waterfall.

The staff playing mahjong in the restaurant where we had dinner. I love this mahjong table with the way the shelves for drinks (or in this case ash trays) are built into the table rather than added onto it.

Hong Zhu Shan Hot Spring Centre Tea House had mahjong tables with honours, if not flowers, contrary to the mahjong tables in the main building. So we spent all our evenings here.
